Description

The Big Western Rock Lobster situated on the corner of the Brand Highway & Moreton Terrace, is a must see when visiting Dongara- Port Denison.

The Dongara Denison Community Festival commenced in 1999 and at that time was known as the Larry the Lobster Festival, this event is held annually in October/November. The Festival has grown every year since its inception and is now a major event on the Dongara Denison tourism calendar. This event showcases our twin towns, and its attractions, its people and local businesses. The festival committee consists of a handful of hard working volunteers, who plan the festival to cater for all community members and more importantly brings the community together across all sectors.
